Bird Brief

How does the saying go, “The early bird catches the worm”. However in my case it’s “The early birder who catches the bird”. Score another bird for the life list, and this time it’s a Connecticut Warbler believe it or not. I’m still pinching myself from this great little skulking bird. It was only a brief look, but as it went further back into the thicket out of view it started to sing for about 10 minutes on and off. A real thrill to say the least. With more pictures to come and needing a little sleep, I’m just going to give you the run down on today’s birds.
